About us:
Towmasters was started in 1999 by a group of concerned Towing Professionals from New Hampshire, who felt that there was not enough training and education in the area.
Their idea flourished and Towmasters is now an independent, non-profit organization committed to improving the towing and recovery industry through education and training. The image and the professional appearance of this industry must be enhanced; for we accomplish tasks that the general public sees as difficult or next to impossible on a daily basis. Potential employees as well as current employees must take pride in what they can accomplish.
The Officers and Board of Directors (all members are directors) setup educational programs based on input from business owners. We attend and scrutinize potential sources of education. Varying from business management, accounting practices, to complete towing and recovery techniques; including basics to advanced levels. The group sets up a schedule of classes based on industry demand. Some of our more popular seminars include Wreckmaster, Tom Luciano, Billy Leach Jr., and Wes Wilburn.
The educational programs are open to any interested business owner and their employees, however Towmaster members enjoy a discounted rate.
Towmaster members are from Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
